Elections
The City of Mahnomen has passed a joint resolution with the townships of
LaGarde, Marsh Creek and Pembina for a combined polling place.
New voting equipment will be in place to assist those with disabilities
and optic scanning equipment will be used.
Your Election Location is:
St Michael's Church 501 S. Main St. Mahnomen, MN 56557
https://www.stmichaelmahnomen.org/ Elections are held every 2 years, on even numbered years.
The City normally has 3 offices that will be expire at the end of the year and open for filings.
One opening for a 2-year term as Mayor and two openings for a 4-year term as a Council Member.
All terms will start on January 1 of the year following the election.
Please note that notices regarding elections, candidate filings, etc.. are published in the Mahnomen Pioneer.
Judges: The City of Mahnomen is always looking for Election Judges which is a paid position.
If you have an interest in being an election judge print and fill out the interest form below.
We only need the interest form with your info retuned, the front page is for you to keep.
Please note: we will call you or send a letter when we need you to serve.
Judges are placed on a call list to fill in if another cannot serve the day of election
so please provide contact information.
It is an all day event from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
IF YOU ARE A STUDENT who is at least 16 and interested in working as an election judge trainee, you can:
print off an interest form found below and mail back to address below.
